For flights between Seoul and Yangon, our weight-concept baggage policy applies. In Economy Class, checked baggage allowances are 25kg for Lite and Value fares, and 30kg for Standard and Flexi fares. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights on this route once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Business Class passengers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Seoul to Singapore sector operated by the Boeing 787-10 or Airbus A350-900, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of around 32 inches, with up to 19 inches of seat width, while Business Class provides a fully flat bed with direct aisle access. On the Singapore to Yangon sector operated by the Boeing 737-8 MAX, Economy Class offers similar legroom with about 32-inch pitch, and Business Class seats convert into fully flat beds, giving you additional comfort on the regional flight.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Seoul but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. Eligible passengers may use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge at Singapore (SIN).

Singapore Changi Airport is designed for comfortable transits, with themed gardens, quiet rest areas, and a wide range of dining and shopping. For longer layovers, you can explore attractions such as indoor gardens, play zones, and relaxation spaces within the terminals without passing immigration. If your connection allows at least 5.5 to 6 hours, you may also consider an official transit tour into the city, subject to current operating conditions and eligibility. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Seoul follows Korea Standard Time (KST), which is UTC+9 and does not observe daylight saving time. Yangon follows Myanmar Standard Time (MMT), which is UTC+6:30, also without daylight saving time. Yangon is therefore 2.5 hours behind Seoul throughout the year.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Seoul–Singapore and Singapore–Yangon) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Yangon is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
