For flights between Los Angeles and Mumbai, the piece concept applies for checked baggage. Checked baggage: Economy Class (2 pieces, each max 23kg), Premium Economy Class (2 pieces, each max 23kg), and Business Class (2 pieces, each max 32kg). Each individual piece must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class (1 piece, up to 7kg), and Business Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members have additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights between Los Angeles, Singapore, and Mumbai once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. Wi-Fi is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Los Angeles to Singapore sector operated by the Airbus A350-900, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, Premium Economy Class provides a 38-inch pitch with up to 20-inch seat width, and Business Class features a fully flat bed with direct aisle access from every seat.

On the Singapore to Mumbai sector operated by the Boeing 787-10, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, while Business Class offers a fully flat bed with direct aisle access at every seat.

On both the Airbus A350-900 and Boeing 787-10 services between Los Angeles, Singapore, and Mumbai, you will have access to our KrisWorld in-flight entertainment system. This offers a wide range of films, TV programmes, music, and games on a personal screen, with noise-reducing headphones provided in all cabins.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

At Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), eligible Singapore Airlines customers may relax in the Star Alliance Lounge before departure. During your layover at Singapore Changi Airport, eligible passengers can access the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin and frequent flyer status.

Singapore Changi Airport offers extensive amenities, including indoor gardens, rest zones, playgrounds, and a wide range of dining and shopping. If your layover is at least 5.5 hours, you may consider joining the airport’s free city tour programme, subject to eligibility and timing. Shorter layovers are easily filled with a walk through the terminals, a meal, or time in a lounge. When you travel on a single Singapore Airlines itinerary from Los Angeles to Mumbai via Singapore, we usually check your baggage through to Mumbai. You will normally not need to collect your checked baggage at Singapore Changi Airport during the layover, unless advised otherwise at check-in.

On arrival in Mumbai, you will proceed to immigration, collect your checked baggage, and then clear customs before exiting into the arrivals hall. Signage at the airport is clear, and staff are available to assist if you need directions to transport, connecting flights, or airport services.
