For Amsterdam–Cebu flights, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (25kg on Lite/Value fares, 30kg on Standard/Flexi), Premium Economy Class (35kg), and Business Class (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class (1 piece, up to 7kg), and Business Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service supports messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Amsterdam–Singapore sector operated by the Airbus A350-900, Economy Class offers a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, Premium Economy Class offers a 38-inch pitch with up to 20-inch seat width, and Business Class features a fully flat bed with direct aisle access. On the Singapore–Cebu sector operated by the Boeing 737-8 MAX, Economy Class provides comfortable legroom similar to regional services, and Business Class offers wider seats that convert into a spacious recline for added comfort.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Amsterdam but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore (SIN), eligible customers may use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), and KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, subject to their eligibility.

At Singapore Changi Airport, long layovers can be used to join the official city tour programme, which typically requires a minimum transit time of around 5.5 to 6 hours to clear all formalities comfortably. You can see key city highlights before returning in time for your onward flight.

For shorter layovers, staying airside is very comfortable, with themed gardens, rest zones, art installations, and in selected terminals, attractions such as indoor play areas and relaxation corners. There are also shower facilities and transit hotels if you wish to rest in privacy between flights.

Dining, shopping, and quiet seating areas are widely available across the terminals, so you can enjoy a meal, browse shops, or simply relax near your gate. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Amsterdam follows Central European Time (UTC+1) in winter and Central European Summer Time (UTC+2) from roughly late March to late October. Cebu follows Philippine Time (UTC+8) all year and does not observe daylight saving time. This means Cebu is 7 hours ahead of Amsterdam in winter, and 6 hours ahead in summer.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Cebu is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
