For flights between Auckland and Surabaya, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are as follows: Economy Class passengers have 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares; Premium Economy Class passengers have 35kg; Business Class passengers have 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Auckland to Surabaya once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, and Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans on board. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Auckland–Singapore sector operated by the Airbus A350-900, Economy Class seats offer around 32 inches of pitch, with up to 19 inches of seat width. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

At Singapore Changi Airport, you can make the most of your layover with themed gardens, quiet rest areas, and multiple terminals to explore. If you have at least 5.5 to 6 hours between flights, you may consider joining an official transit tour into the city, subject to eligibility and timing. Shorter layovers are ideal for enjoying butterfly and sunflower gardens, indoor walking trails, or simply unwinding in comfortable seating zones. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

When departing from Auckland Airport, eligible Singapore Airlines customers may be able to access the Air New Zealand International Lounge, depending on cabin class or frequent flyer status linked to the onward Singapore Airlines-operated flight. Lounge access is subject to current agreements, operating hours, and capacity on the day of travel.

During your layover at Singapore Changi Airport, eligible passengers travelling on Singapore Airlines-operated flights may have access to lounges such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge. Access depends on your cabin class, KrisFlyer tier, or Star Alliance status, and is determined by your departing flight from Singapore.

Auckland operates on New Zealand Standard Time (UTC+12) in roughly April to September, and New Zealand Daylight Time (UTC+13) in roughly late September to early April. Surabaya follows Western Indonesia Time (UTC+7) all year. This means Surabaya is 5 hours behind Auckland in NZST, and 6 hours behind in NZDT.
