For flights between Delhi and Kathmandu via Singapore, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are based on your cabin: Economy Class guests may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares; Premium Economy Class guests may check 35kg; Business Class guests may check 40kg; Suites guests may check 50kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class guests may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Suites and Business Class guests may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights between Delhi and Kathmandu once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. KrisFlyer members enjoy free and unlimited Wi-Fi; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can enjoy an extensive range of amenities without leaving the terminal. For longer connections, consider joining one of the airport operated transit tours into the city, which typically require a minimum layover of around 5.5 to 6 hours. In Delhi, eligible Singapore Airlines passengers may be invited to use the Encalm Prive Lounge before departure. Delhi follows India Standard Time (UTC+5:30) throughout the year and does not observe daylight saving time. Kathmandu follows Nepal Time (UTC+5:45), also without daylight saving. Kathmandu is consistently 15 minutes ahead of Delhi in all months, so you only need to adjust your watch by a quarter of an hour on arrival.
