For flights between Beijing and Kochi, our weight-concept baggage policy applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class passengers have an allowance of 35kg, Business Class 40kg, and First Class 50kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class and First Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet on eligible flights between Beijing, Singapore, and Kochi. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, and Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Beijing to Singapore sector, Economy Class offers a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, while Premium Economy Class on Boeing 777-300ER services provides a 38-inch pitch and up to 20-inch seat width. Business Class features a fully flat bed with direct aisle access, and First Class on the Boeing 777-300ER also offers a fully flat bed.

On the Singapore to Kochi sector, Economy Class seats provide a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch width, and Business Class offers a fully flat bed where every seat has direct aisle access, giving you added comfort on the regional flight.

Between Beijing and Singapore, you can choose from Economy Class and Business Class on most services, with selected Boeing 777-300ER flights also offering Premium Economy Class and First Class. Between Singapore and Kochi, flights operate with Economy Class and Business Class cabins on the Boeing 737-8 MAX.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

At Singapore Changi Airport, long layovers can be spent exploring themed gardens, relaxation zones, and entertainment areas across the terminals. If you have at least 5.5 to 6 hours between flights, you can consider joining an official transit city tour, subject to operating schedules and eligibility.

Shorter layovers are comfortable when you stay airside, using rest areas, showers, and a wide choice of dining and shopping options between gates. For departures from Beijing, eligible Singapore Airlines customers may be able to access partner facilities such as the Air China Lounge at Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) or the BCS Lounge at Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX), depending on the operating airport, class of travel, and membership status.

Beijing follows China Standard Time, which is UTC+8 and does not observe daylight saving time. Kochi follows India Standard Time, which is UTC+5:30 and also does not change throughout the year. Kochi is therefore 2 hours 30 minutes behind Beijing at all times.

When you fly from Beijing to Kochi with Singapore Airlines, you will transit through Singapore Changi Airport. Your first sector takes you from either Beijing Capital or Beijing Daxing to Singapore, followed by a connecting flight from Singapore to Cochin International Airport serving Kochi.
