For flights between Phuket and Chennai, we apply the weight concept for checked baggage. In Economy Class, Lite and Value fares include 25kg, while Standard and Flexi fares include 30kg. Business Class includes 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access.

The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers. Coverage and performance may vary depending on the aircraft and route conditions.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Phuket but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport offers extensive facilities for both short and longer layovers. For connections of around 5.5 hours or more, you may be able to join an official transit tour into the city, giving you a brief introduction to Singapore before returning to your gate.

If you prefer to stay airside, you can enjoy themed gardens, rest zones, and play areas, as well as a wide variety of dining and shopping options, plus airport hotels and nap facilities in selected terminals.
