For flights between Phuket and Penang, our weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class passengers may bring up to 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your journey will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Phuket follows Thailand Time (UTC+7) and does not observe daylight saving time. Penang follows Malaysia Time (UTC+8), also without daylight saving. This means Penang is 1 hour ahead of Phuket throughout the year, so when it is 12.00pm in Phuket, it is 13.00pm in Penang.

For flights from Phuket to Penang via Singapore, we recommend arriving at Phuket International Airport at least 2 hours before departure to allow time for check-in, security, and immigration.
