For flights between Colombo and Osaka, the weight-concept baggage policy applies. Checked baggage allowances are as follows: Economy Class passengers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, or 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares, while Business Class passengers may check 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, and Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your journey will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Colombo to Osaka once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, including those in Economy Class, as long as your membership number is added to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans on board. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Colombo follows Sri Lanka Standard Time (UTC+5:30) and does not observe daylight saving time. Osaka follows Japan Standard Time (UTC+9) and also does not observe daylight saving time. This means Osaka is 3 hours 30 minutes ahead of Colombo throughout the year.
