For flights between Male and Phuket, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are as follows: Economy Class guests have 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class guests have 35kg, and Business Class guests have 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class guests may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class guests may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact baggage allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on this route once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Airbus A350-900 between Male and Singapore, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, and Premium Economy Class seats (on selected services) offer a 38-inch pitch with up to 20-inch seat width. Business Class provides a fully flat bed with direct aisle access for every seat.

On the Boeing 737-8 MAX between Singapore and Phuket, Economy Class seats provide a comfortable 32-inch pitch, while Business Class features seats that convert to a fully flat bed, giving you extra rest time on the shorter flight.

At Male Velana International Airport, eligible Singapore Airlines customers may use the Koveli Lounge before departure. Access depends on your cabin class or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status. If your Male to Phuket journey is booked on a single Singapore Airlines itinerary via Singapore, we will usually check your baggage through to Phuket. You will receive baggage tags to your final destination at check-in in Male. Always confirm the baggage tag details and transfer arrangements at the check-in counter.

Male follows Maldives Time (UTC+5) and does not observe daylight saving time. Phuket follows Thailand Time (UTC+7) and also does not observe daylight saving time. Phuket is therefore 2 hours ahead of Male throughout the year, so when it is 12.00pm in Male, it is 14.00pm in Phuket.
