Book the Cook
Eligible passengers in premium cabins on selected sectors can use our Book the Cook service to reserve a main course from an extended menu before departure. This allows you to personalise your dining experience on board.

Beverage Service
Throughout the flight, you can enjoy a selection of hot and cold drinks. Our signature Singapore Sling is available on board, along with a curated choice of other beverages.

For flights between Manila and Seoul, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class passengers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, or 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares; Business Class passengers may check up to 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg in weight.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, although Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans on board.

The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers. Coverage and performance may vary slightly between aircraft types during your journey.

On both the Manila–Singapore sector, operated by the Airbus A350-900 or Boeing 787-10, and the Singapore–Seoul sector, operated by the Boeing 787-10, Economy Class seats offer a pitch of about 32 inches with up to 19 inches of seat width, giving you comfortable space to sit back and relax.

Business Class on these aircraft features lie-flat beds with generous personal space and direct aisle access from every seat. This allows you to rest fully on the longer Singapore–Seoul sector and arrive feeling more refreshed.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

When departing from Manila, eligible passengers may use the SilverKris Lounge at Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport. During your layover at Singapore Changi Airport, eligible travellers can access facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin class and membership status.

At Singapore Changi Airport, you can enjoy themed gardens, art installations, rest areas, and a wide range of dining and shopping without leaving the terminal. For longer layovers, you may consider exploring additional terminal attractions, or relaxing at an airport hotel or lounge.

If your transit time is at least 5.5 to 6 hours, you can also consider joining an official airport transit tour into the city, subject to eligibility and operating schedules. For shorter layovers, staying airside offers plenty of comfort and entertainment options. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

For most Singapore Airlines itineraries from Manila to Seoul via Singapore, we check your baggage through to your final destination, so you do not need to collect it during the layover. Please confirm at check-in that your bags are tagged to Seoul, and keep your baggage tags for reference.

Manila operates on Philippine Time (UTC+8) all year and does not observe daylight saving time. Seoul uses Korea Standard Time (UTC+9), also without daylight saving time. This means Seoul is 1 hour ahead of Manila throughout the year, regardless of your month of travel.

When you fly from Manila to Seoul with Singapore Airlines, you will transit through Singapore Changi Airport and arrive at a Seoul-area airport served by our Singapore–Seoul flights. Your specific arrival airport and terminal are shown on your e-ticket and booking confirmation.

For flights from Manila to Seoul via Singapore, we recommend arriving at Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport at least 3 hours before your scheduled departure time. This allows enough time for check-in, security checks, and to proceed comfortably to your departure gate.

Visa requirements depend on your nationality, the purpose of your trip, and the length of your stay in South Korea, as well as any rules for transiting Singapore. We recommend checking with the relevant embassies or official government websites, and confirming requirements before you travel.

On arrival in the Seoul area, you will go through immigration, collect your checked baggage, and then pass customs. Clear directional signs in English are available throughout the arrivals area. From there, you can continue your journey into the city by train, bus, or authorised taxi services.
