June 2026 Operating Statistics

In June 2026, the Singapore Airlines (SIA) Group’s passenger traffic increased 4.1% year on-year, underpinned by robust demand for air travel. Passenger capacity grew 6.0% over the same period. As a result, the Group’s passenger load factor (PLF) was 87.1%, with SIA and Scoot posting monthly PLFs of 86.4% and 89.5% respectively. The two airlines carried a combined total of 3.7 million passengers, 6.3% higher than a year ago.

Cargo carriage increased by 8.5% year-on-year, bolstered by artificial intelligence (AI) - and data centre-related movements, as well as frontloading of e-commerce volumes into Europe ahead of the implementation of the European Union’s small parcel duty from 1 July 2026. Overall cargo loads grew 5.1% year-on-year, against a 2.3% reduction in capacity. Consequently, the cargo load factor rose by 4.2 percentage points to 60.6%.

During the month, SIA launched services to Hangzhou in mainland China, while Scoot launched services to Pontianak in Indonesia. Scoot resumed passenger services to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia on 22 June 2026, but subsequently suspended flights from 14 July 2026, following the escalation of hostility in the Middle East. SIA’s services to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates remain suspended.

As of 30 June 2026, the Group’s passenger network¹ covered 137 destinations in 36 countries and territories. SIA served 78 destinations, while Scoot served 85 destinations. The cargo network¹ comprised 139 destinations in 36 countries and territories.
