KrisFlyer Fest Social Contest on KrisFlyer Official Facebook and Instagram - Contest Terms and Conditions

KrisFlyer members who participate in the KrisFlyer Fest Social Contest ("Contest") in accordance with these terms (the "Terms") from 22 October 2024 (0800 hrs GMT+8) to 3 November 2024 ( 2359 hrs GMT+8) ("Contest Period") will stand a chance to win a Prize (as defined hereinafter).

1. The Contest is organised by Singapore Airlines Limited ("SIA") and will be conducted via Instagram and Facebook ("Contest").
2. In order to participate in the Contest, a person (collectively the "Participants", and each a "Participant") must:
   1. be a KrisFlyer member;
   2. reside in Singapore, Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belarus, Bosnia Herzegovina, Brunei, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong SAR China, Hungary, Iceland, India (excluding Tamil Nadu), Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Moldova, Morocco, Myanmar, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Taiwan China, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, Vietnam, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom or United States;
   3. follow the official KrisFlyer account on either Facebook (www.facebook.com/KrisFlyer.official) or Instagram (www.instagram.com/KrisFlyer.official);
   4. solve the crossword puzzle posted by SIA and designated as the Contest post on the relevant platform; and
   5. submit the correct answer to the crossword puzzle to SIA, by informing SIA's designated staff of the answer during the KrisFlyer Fest event at Cloud9 Piazza, Jewel, Changi Airport.
3. SIA may provide clues to the crossword puzzle between 1 October to 1 November 2024 via such means as it may determine from time to time, including without limitation via Instagram and Facebook Stories.
4. SIA reserves the right to verify the eligibility of Participants at its sole and absolute discretion. The demise of a Participant automatically disqualifies his/her entry.
5. The first 10 Participants who submit the correct answer to SIA on 2 November or 3 November 2024 in accordance with paragraph 2(e) above, as determined by SIA in its sole and absolute discretion, will each win a Prize (as defined below).
6. There will be a total of 20 winners for the Contest (each a "Winner", and collectively the "Winners"). Subject to their full and timely compliance with these Terms, each Winner will win a goodie bag comprising the following items: 2,500 KrisFlyer miles (to be credited to the winner’s KrisFlyer account, SGD25 Pelago voucher, SGD50 spa voucher, and a selection of KrisFlyer, Scoot, KrisShop and Kris+ merchandise worth SGD150 (collectively the "Prizes" and each a "Prize").
7. In order to collect their Prizes, each Winner must comply with the following conditions:
   1. they must provide to SIA such personal details and other information as SIA may require via a form to be filled at the Social Media Booth at the KrisFlyer Fest or such other means as SIA may designate;
   2. they must ensure that all information provided to SIA is true, accurate, and complete; and
   3. they must personally collect their Prize from the Social Media Booth at the KrisFlyer Fest.
8. If any Winner does not comply with the conditions above or is determined by SIA in its sole and absolute discretion to have breached any provisions in these Terms and/or to be not eligible to participate in the Contest for any reason, the relevant Prize will be forfeited.
9. SIA reserves the right at any time in its absolute discretion to (a) cancel or modify the Contest; or (b) substitute, withdraw or cancel any Prize, or to award one or more but not all of the Prizes, without prior notice and without having to disclose any reason therefore and without any payment or compensation whatsoever. All decisions made by SIA, in respect to any matter relating to this Contest, including the choice of each Winner, shall be final, conclusive and binding on all Participants and Winners, and no correspondence will be entertained. SIA reserves the right to vary these Terms or terminate this Contest without prior notice at its sole and absolute discretion.
10. The KrisFlyer miles awarded from this Contest are valid for a period of one (1) year from the date on which they are credited into the respective Winner's KrisFlyer account (the "KrisFlyer Validity Period"), following which they shall expire and there shall be no extension of the KrisFlyer Validity Period. For the avoidance of doubt, KrisFlyer miles awarded from this Contest which have not been used by the end of the KrisFlyer Validity Period will expire and shall be deemed null and void.
11. KrisFlyer miles can be used: (i) to redeem eligible flights on Singapore Airlines, Scoot or their partner airlines, and/or (ii) for purchases on non-airline partners (KrisShop, KrisFlyer vRooms, via Kris+, and Pelago), in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions.
    1. The use of KrisFlyer miles to redeem an air tickets on eligible flights is subject to seat availability at the time of reservation or ticket issuance and must be used in accordance with the terms and conditions of the KrisFlyer programme, (available online at https://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/ppsclub_KrisFlyer/termsconditions-kf/ ).
    2. The use of KrisFlyer miles to redeem merchandise on KrisShop (available online at https://www.krisshop.com/en/) is subject to stock availability at the time of purchase and must be used in accordance with the terms and conditions of the KrisFlyer programme, and the terms of use of the KrisShop website (available online at https://www.krisshop.com/en/page/platform-and-sale-terms).
    3. The use of KrisFlyer miles to redeem hotel stays or car rentals on KrisFlyer vRooms (available online athttps://www.KrisFlyervrooms.com) is subject to room/car availability at the time of booking and must be used in accordance with the terms and conditions of the KrisFlyer programme, and the terms of use of the KrisFlyer vRooms website (available online at https://KrisFlyervrooms.com/shopping/terms).
    4. The use of KrisFlyer miles to redeem shopping, dining, wellness services via the Kris+ app must be used in accordance with the terms and conditions of the KrisFlyer programme, and Kris+ partners (available online at www.krisplus.com).
    5. The use of KrisFlyer miles to redeem activities and experiences on Pelago must be used in accordance with the terms and conditions of the KrisFlyer programme, and terms of use of Pelago (https://pages.pelago.co/en-sg/terms-of-use/).
12. The Prize cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
13. Transfer of KrisFlyer miles from one member’s KrisFlyer account to another KrisFlyer member’s account is not permitted.

Participation

14. By participating in the Contest, each Participant agrees to comply with and be bound by these Terms, SIA's conditions of use of website, SIA's Privacy Policy (http://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/privacy-policy/) KrisFlyer Terms and Conditions (https://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/ppsclub_KrisFlyer/termsconditions-kf/), Kris+ Terms and Conditions (https://sqkrisplus.page.link/Download), Pelago terms and conditions (https://pages.pelago.co/en/terms-of-use), KrisFlyer vRooms terms and conditions (https://KrisFlyervrooms.com/shopping/terms) and KrisShop terms and conditions (https://www.krisshop.com/en/page/platform-and-sale-terms) (collectively, "SIA Terms & Conditions"). Non-compliance with or breach of any of these Terms (including without limitation any of the SIA Terms & Conditions) may result in the Participant being disqualified at any stage of the Contest, and any Prizes won may be forfeited, withheld, withdrawn or reclaimed by SIA. Unless otherwise defined, capitalised terms used herein shall have the meanings assigned to them in the respective SIA Terms and Conditions.
15. By participating in the Contest, each Participant consents that any and all personal data he/she submits (including his/her name, KrisFlyer membership number, email address and contact number) or otherwise makes available to SIA may be collected, used, disclosed, or otherwise processed by SIA, its authorised service providers and its advertising and promotion agencies for the purposes indicated in SIA's Privacy Policy and for administrating the Contest and the Prizes, including to communicate with the Winners in relation to collection of the Prize and for SIA's publicity and/or advertising campaigns connected to the Contest, and further agrees that such collection, use, disclosure, and processing will be without payment or compensation.
16. Employees of SIA, their immediate families, affiliates, subsidiaries, related agencies, principal sponsors, and suppliers associated with this campaign are not eligible to participate in the Contest. Corporations and other artificial persons are not eligible to participate in the Contest.
17. To the extent permitted under applicable law, SIA will not be responsible or liable for any consequences that any Participant may suffer (including without limitation any damage, loss, injury or disappointment) by entering the Contest or the Participant's acceptance of any Prize.
18. Unless otherwise specified, SIA is not responsible for and will not bear any of the expenses and all ancillary costs which may be incurred in the participation in the Contest and/or the Prizes.
19. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and any advertising, promotional, publicity, or other materials relating to or in connection with the Contest, these Terms shall prevail.

21. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
