APEC Business Travel Card

Holders of the APEC Business Travel Card (ABTC) enjoy fast-track entry and exit through special APEC lanes at major airports, and multiple short term entries to the participating economies. This product is managed solely by the government agency responsible for the ABTC scheme for your respective home economy. For more information, please click here.

Solitaire PPS Club members from participating countries under the APEC Business Travel Card scheme may be eligible  to receive 10,500 KrisFlyer miles in support of their travel.*

1. Ensure that you have a copy of the official application acknowledgement. 

2. Submit the APEC Business Travel Card Miles Crediting Form**

You should receive the KrisFlyer miles for your card application within two to four weeks of the submission of your document.

*Effective 20 March 2025. all applications submitted and not yet processed under the ABTC Reimbursement scheme, prior to  20 March 2025, will be entitled to the cash reimbursement under the old scheme. 

**You must be logged in to your Solitaire PPS Club account to access the link to the APEC Business Card Travel Miles Crediting Form. Alternatively, you may log in to your Solitaire PPS Club account and access the form under Profile > Forms.

Eligibility for Miles Crediting

The miles credited for your ABTC application is an exclusive benefit for Solitaire PPS Club members. To qualify, please note the following: -

1. You are a qualified Solitaire PPS Club member at the point of application for the ABTC and submission to Singapore Airlines for the crediting of miles.

2. You have applied for the ABTC under your name. Supplementary cardholders are not eligible for this miles crediting scheme.

3. You have not applied for the miles crediting for your ABTC application before in your current Solitaire PPS Club membership year. Members are eligible to make a maximum of one claim per Solitaire PPS Club membership year.***

*** All applications prior to 20 March 2025 will also be counted as an application under the ABTC miles crediting scheme.

  1. These terms and conditions for the ABTC Miles Crediting Scheme shall be effective on and from 20 March 2025. 
  2. Subject to these terms and conditions, all Solitaire PPS Club members who have: 

    (a) applied for an APEC Business Travel Card (“ABTC”) as a principal cardholder and made payment of the relevant processing fee;
    (b) purchased a flight ticket for an Eligible Flight;  
    (c) submitted an application and supporting documents to Singapore Airlines Limited (“SIA”) in accordance with these terms and conditions (“Miles Application”); and 
    (d) not made any previous Miles Application or application for reimbursement of the cost of an ABTC (under the reimbursement scheme prior to 20 March 2025) in their current Solitaire PPS Club membership year

    are eligible to receive a fixed amount of 10,500 KrisFlyer miles in their personal KrisFlyer account (“Miles”). 

    For avoidance of doubt, the applicant of the Miles Application must hold a valid Solitaire PPS Club membership both (a) at the time of the ABTC application, and (b) the Miles Application, to qualify for the Miles.

    Please refer to the APEC website (accessible here or such APEC website as may be amended from time to time) for the list of participating economies and eligibility criteria for the ABTC. 

    Please note that the ABTC scheme is not operated by Singapore Airlines Limited (“SIA”). SIA is not responsible for administering the ABTC scheme, determining the eligibility criteria of the ABTC scheme, or processing applications for the ABTC.  Eligible members are advised to contact the government agency responsible for ABTC applications in their home economy (“Responsible Agency”) for more information on the eligibility criteria and the application process for the ABTC. Applications for the ABTC (and payment of the processing fee) should be made to the Responsible Agency. The list of Responsible Agencies is published on the APEC’s website (currently accessible here). 
  3. An “Eligible Flight” means a flight: (a) on any flight ticket sold by any airline (whether or not SIA) and (b) which was operated, or is scheduled to operate, up to 12 months before, on, or up to 12 months after, the date of the Miles Application. 

    Illustration: If the date of the Miles Application is 1 April 2025, the Eligible Flight must have been operated, or be scheduled to operate, between 1 April 2024 and 1 April 2026 (both dates inclusive).
  4. A Miles Application must:

    (a) be made by a Solitaire PPS Club member by submitting a duly completed ABTC Business Travel Card Miles Crediting Form to SIA by submitting an online form accessible via the Solitaire PPS Club member’s account (Profile > Forms > ABTC Business Travel Card Miles Crediting Form); and 
    (b) be accompanied by the following supporting documents: 

        i. Acknowledgement of receipt of an ABTC application (bearing the name of the Solitaire PPS Club member making the Miles Application) issued by the Responsible Agency (“ABTC Application Acknowledgement”)

    The applicant may be required to provide further supporting information or documents as SIA may reasonably require in the circumstances to verify the applicant’s eligibility under clause 1. 
  5. SIA may (at its sole discretion acting reasonably) reject any Miles Application which it deems to be incomplete or deficient, or where it suspects fraud or any unlawful act or omission in connection with the application. 
  6. The estimated processing time for a Miles Application is between 2 to 4 weeks from the date of the application. This estimate assumes a complete application with all required supporting information and documents. Additional processing time may be required in the event of a high volume of applications.
  7. Each Solitaire PPS Club member may only submit one Miles Application per membership year. Only one Miles Application is permitted for each unique ABTC application made to a Responsible Agency, and any duplicate or repeat Miles Applications using the same ABTC Application Acknowledgment will be disregarded. The date of application and payment listed on the ABTC Application Acknowledgment, as well as the date of the Miles Application, must be after 1 June 2017 and fall within the applicant’s current Solitaire PPS Club membership year. SIA reserves the right to reject any Miles Application where the date of application, payment and/or date of the Miles Application do not fall within the applicant’s current Solitaire PPS Club membership year, or which otherwise does not comply with these terms and conditions. 
  8. SIA may amend the amount of Miles under clause 2 at any time in its sole discretion with at least 30 days’ prior notice.
  9. No request to substitute Miles for any cash, currency, or any other value (including but not limited to goods or services) shall be entertained.
  10. Subject to clause 8, SIA may, in its sole discretion (acting reasonably) terminate the ABTC Miles Crediting Scheme and/or vary any of these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
  11. The validity, receipt and use of any Miles are subject at all times to the KrisFlyer Terms and Conditions (accessible here or such website as may be amended from time to time).
  12. SIA may, in its sole discretion (acting reasonably), forfeit, withhold, withdraw or reclaim any Miles issued to any Solitaire PPS Club member who has acted in breach of these terms and conditions and/or the KrisFlyer Terms and Conditions. 
  13. By participating in the ABTC Miles Crediting Scheme, each Solitaire PPS Club member agrees that any and all personal data submitted will be collected, used, disclosed or otherwise processed by SIA for the purposes of verifying the Miles Crediting Application as well as to communicate with the relevant Solitaire PPS Club member. All collection, use and disclosure of personal data will be done in accordance with SIA’s Privacy Policy which is deemed as incorporated into these terms and conditions. 
  14. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
