Contest Terms and Conditions

  1. KrisFlyer members who participate in the Contest (as defined herein) in accordance with these terms (the "Terms") from 11 June 2025 (0800 hrs GMT+8) to 16 June 2025 (2359 hrs GMT+8) ("Contest Period") will stand a chance to win 5,000 KrisFlyer miles.
  2. The KrisFlyer Travel Buddies Contest on Instagram ("Contest") is organised by Singapore Airlines Limited ("SIA"), will be carried out on Instagram, and is open to all KrisFlyer members (unless otherwise stated) who participate in the Contest in accordance with these Terms, including without limitation as described in paragraph 3 below, during the Contest Period.
  3. In order to be eligible to participate in the Contest, a KrisFlyer member must:
    1. follow KrisFlyer on Instagram (at https://www.instagram.com/krisflyer.official) and
    2. post an Instagram story using the KrisFlyer Travel Buddies Instagram ‘Add Yours’ template with a public account, and fill in the blanks in English (each a "Submission"), during the Contest Period.
  4. Each eligible KrisFlyer member who participates in the Contest shall be referred to as a “Participant”. Participants can make unlimited Submissions, however repeated Submissions containing the same response will be disqualified.
  5. SIA reserves the right to verify the eligibility of Participants at its sole and absolute discretion. The demise of a Participant automatically disqualifies his/her entry.
  6. The Participant(s) with the most creative Submissions, as determined by SIA in its sole and absolute discretion, will win the Prize(s) (as defined below).
  7. There will be a total of 5 winners of the Contest (each, a "Winner", and collectively, the “Winners”). Subject to their full and timely compliance with these Terms, each Winner will receive 5,000 KrisFlyer miles ("Prize"). Winners will be announced by 20 June 2025 on Instagram, or on such other date or via such other means as SIA may determine at its sole and absolute discretion.
  8. Each Prize cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
  9. By taking part in this Contest, each Participant acknowledges and agrees that:
    1. each Participant may not submit, upload or publish any content that is inaccurate, misleading, libellous, defamatory, threatening, pornographic, obscene, indecent, lewd, abusive, illegal, political, racist, religious, blasphemous, false, an infringement of any intellectual property rights of a third party, or would otherwise violate or encourage the violation of any law or the proprietary or other rights of any third party (individually and collectively "Improper Content");
    2. each Participant automatically grants SIA a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable and royalty-free licence to use (including without limitation, to store, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, display, communicate, transmit, broadcast, podcast, webcast, or broadcast) and to sub-licence any and all intellectual property rights, title and interests (including copyright) in their Submission(s), including without limitation to repurpose and/or report their answers in other social media posts as and when it deems fit, without informing the Participant in advance; and
    3. each Participant represents and warrants that:
      1. all Submissions are the Participant's own original works and creations and do not and will not infringe the copyright or any other intellectual property or other rights of any third party;
      2. none of the Submissions are proprietary or confidential;
      3. none of the Submissions are Improper Content, nor will they expose SIA to any civil or criminal proceedings in any part of the world; and
      4. the use by SIA and other users of the Submissions for the purposes and in the manner set out in these Terms will not require any further licences or rights from, or infringe any intellectual property or other rights of, any third party.
  10. SIA will notify the Winners as a reply to their Submission on Instagram or via such other means as SIA may determine from time to time at its sole and absolute discretion. The Winners will be required to provide their personal details to SIA via KrisFlyer_social@singaporeair.com.sg in order to receive their Prize. All details and particulars submitted must be true, accurate and complete. SIA will then provide the Winners with further information on how to claim the Prize. If any Winner is determined by SIA in its sole and absolute discretion to have breached any provisions in these Terms and/or to be not eligible to participate in the Contest for any reason, such Winner's Prize will be forfeited and disposed of by SIA.
  11. SIA reserves the right at any time in its absolute discretion to (a) cancel or modify the Contest; or (b) substitute, withdraw or cancel any Prize, or to award one or more but not all of the Prizes, without prior notice and without having to disclose any reason therefore and without any payment or compensation whatsoever. All decisions made by SIA, in respect to any matter relating to this Contest, including the choice of each Winner, shall be final, conclusive and binding on all Participants and Winners, and no correspondence will be entertained. SIA reserves the right to vary these Terms or terminate this Contest without prior notice at its sole and absolute discretion.
  12. All KrisFlyer miles awarded under this Contest will be subject to the KrisFlyer Terms and Conditions (available online at https://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/ppsclub_krisflyer/termsconditions-kf/).
  13. The Prizes may take about four (4) to six (6) weeks to be delivered or credited into the KrisFlyer account of each Winner.



Participation

  1. By participating in the Contest, the Participant agrees to comply with and be bound by these Terms, SIA's conditions of use of website, SIA's Privacy Policy (available online athttp://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/privacy-policy/), and KrisFlyer Terms and Conditions (available online at https://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/ppsclub_krisflyer/termsconditions-kf/) (collectively, "SIA Terms & Conditions"). Non-compliance with or breach of any of the SIA Terms & Conditions may result in the Participant being disqualified at any stage of the Contest, and any Prizes won may be forfeited, withheld, withdrawn or reclaimed by SIA. Unless otherwise defined, capitalised terms used herein shall have the meanings assigned to them in the respective SIA Terms and Conditions.
  2. By participating in the Contest, each Participant consents that any and all personal data he/she submits (including his/her name, KrisFlyer membership number, email address and contact number) or otherwise makes available to SIA may be collected, used, disclosed, or otherwise processed by SIA, its authorised service providers and its advertising and promotion agencies for the purposes indicated in SIA's Privacy Policy and for administrating the Contest and the Prizes, including to communicate with the Winners in relation to collection of the Prize and for SIA's publicity and/or advertising campaigns connected to the Contest, and further agrees that such collection, use, disclosure, and processing will be without payment or compensation
  3. Employees of SIA, their immediate families, affiliates, subsidiaries, related agencies, principal sponsors and suppliers associated with this campaign are not eligible to participate in the Contest. Corporations and other artificial persons are not eligible to participate in the Contest.
  4. To the extent permitted under applicable law, SIA will not be responsible or liable for any consequences that any Participant may suffer (including without limitation any damage, loss, injury or disappointment) by entering the Contest or the Participant's acceptance of any Prize.
  5. Unless otherwise specified, SIA is not responsible for and will not bear any of the expenses and all ancillary costs which may be incurred in the participation in the Contest and/or the Prizes.

  7. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
