In April 2026, Group passenger traffic rose 7.0% year-on-year, outpacing the passenger capacity increase of 6.3%. As a result, the Group’s passenger load factor (PLF) was 88.4%, an improvement of 0.5 percentage points from a year ago. SIA and Scoot posted monthly PLFs of 87.7% and 91.0% respectively. The two airlines carried a combined total of 3.6 million passengers, 7.5% higher year-on-year.
On the cargo front, loads grew 3.7% year-on-year, against a capacity expansion of 2.3%. Consequently, the cargo load factor increased by 0.8 percentage points to 57.9%.
The SIA Group continued to benefit from spillover passenger traffic and cargo loads, particularly on passenger services to Europe and the Americas, as capacity through the Middle East hubs remained constrained by the ongoing conflict in the region.
As of 30 April 2026, the Group’s passenger network¹ covered 134 destinations in 35 countries and territories. SIA served 77 destinations, while Scoot served 82 destinations. The cargo network¹ comprised 137 destinations in 36 countries and territories.
