Celebrating our 50th Anniversary from the UK
Celebrate with us as we mark 50 years of connecting the United Kingdom to Singapore with two, soon to be announced, exciting new partnerships launching during the month of June as well as special fares and exclusive KrisFlyer promotions.
Introducing the commemorative Singapore Airlines - Connoisseur Dry Gin
To further celebrate Singapore Airlines’ Golden Anniversary and 50-year milestone of continuous flights between London and Singapore, we have partnered London family gin distiller, Hayman’s, to hand-craft the commemorative Singapore Airlines - Connoisseur Dry Gin.
The Singapore Airlines - Connoisseur Dry Gin features natural kumquat, lemongrass, galangal and Persian lime botanicals to invoke exotic citrus flavours synonymous with Southeast Asia. The result is a gin that will retain its appeal to fans of the traditional London Dry style but with a delicate Southeast Asian twist.
The distinctive and captivating classic gin delivers pronounced juniper, together with hints of herbal sweetness. It is best enjoyed with premium tonic, garnished with a fresh lime wedge and a slice of lemongrass, or as part of an exotic cocktail.
The new gin is available for purchase via haymansgin.com, and will also be featured exclusively at the Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge at Heathrow T2 from September 2021.

A Lasting Legacy
50 years ago, Singapore Airlines began its long history with the United Kingdom when the first flight flew between London and Singapore under the Malaysia-Singapore Airlines (MSA) brand. The three times weekly service was the carrier’s first European route and took just over 18 hours flying via Rome, Bahrain and Mumbai (then known as Bombay) on the airline’s two class Boeing 707.
In the spirit of innovation, Singapore Airlines has continued to offer pioneering products and services designed around its passengers. Today, our services from London are served by our fleet of state-of-the-art aircraft with passengers enjoying a choice of four cabins, Economy Class, Premium Economy Class, Business Class and First Class, each offering our renowned service and hospitality.
