For a smooth entry into Singapore, register for Safe Travel Concierge to view a checklist of pre-travel requirements and access e-services and forms, such as the e-Health Declaration Card required by all travellers, including Singapore residents. You can also pre-book and pay for your on-arrival Covid-19 PCR test, if required. If you are arriving into Singapore on Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) flights, please ensure that the “I’m travelling on the VTL” box is ticked and you hold a valid vaccination certificate.

Entry requirements and border controls are in place around the world. If you plan to travel soon, please check the travel advisories for all destinations in your itinerary to ensure that you meet the latest requirements. You will not be allowed to board the aircraft, and you should delay your travel and seek medical attention, if:
  • You have any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat, anosmia or shortness of breath.
  • You have been diagnosed or suspected to have Covid-19 infection in the last seven days. The following exemptions apply: You will be allowed to board if you have recently recovered from Covid-19 or have proof of testing negative for Covid-19 72 hours or more before departure.
  • You have had close contact with anyone with Covid-19 in the last seven days. The following exemption applies: You will be allowed to board if you have recently recovered from Covid-19.

All travellers entering or transiting through Singapore, including Singapore citizens and permanent residents, must take either a pre-departure Covid-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test or professionally administered Antigen Rapid Test (ART). The test must be conducted within two days before the scheduled departure date of their flight. Find out more under “Pre-departure Covid-19 test requirements” here.

If you are flying elsewhere, do check if a pre-departure Covid-19 test is required as part of entry requirements for your travel itinerary. The test must be taken at a recognised or accredited clinic, laboratory or medical facility. For a smoother check-in process, you should check if the clinic is able to provide a test certificate with a corresponding QR code. This QR code should link to your digital pre-departure test certificate.
