Advisory on Singapore Airlines’ flights between Singapore and Nepal

Following the closure of Tribhuvan International Airport due to protests in Nepal, the following Singapore Airlines (SIA) flights have been cancelled:

·       SQ442 departing Singapore for Kathmandu on 9 and 10 September 2025 at 1850hrs

·       SQ441 departing Kathmandu for Singapore on 9 and 10 September 2025 at 2250hrs

*All times stated are local.

SIA will be contacting all affected customers to inform them about the flight cancellations.

Customers affected by the flight cancellations will be reaccommodated on alternative flights or can seek a full refund of the unused portion of their ticket. SIA customers who booked directly with us may use our Assistance Request Form to seek the refund. For bookings made through travel agents or partner airlines, customers are advised to contact their travel agent or purchasing airline directly for assistance.

As the situation remains fluid, other SIA flights between Singapore and Nepal may be affected. Customers may visit our Flight Status page for the latest information on their flights.

Customers are also strongly advised to update their contact details via the ‘Manage Booking’ function on our website or subscribe to a mobile notification service to receive updates to their flight status.
