Any user of the Secure My Fare booking option as well as any booking hereunder are bound by the Terms and Conditions specified herein.
1. Secure My Fare is only available for:
(a) selected flights operated by Singapore Airlines Limited ("Singapore Airlines") and booked through Singapore Airlines’ website and/or mobile app;
(b) selected itineraries; and
(c) selected cabin classes.
Redemption bookings are not eligible for Secure My Fare.
The selected flights, itineraries and cabin classes under this Secure My Fare scheme shall from time to time be determined, modified, supplemented, withdrawn and/or cancelled by Singapore Airlines at its sole and absolute discretion.
The period for which tickets are reserved under this Secure My Fare scheme shall hereinafter be referred to as the "Hold Period", which shall be prescribed by Singapore Airlines. The Hold Period may from time to time be adjusted in the sole and absolute discretion of Singapore Airlines.
2. A fee (the "Holding Fee") is payable per person nominated on the booking, excluding infants under the age of 2 years. To be eligible to travel on an infant ticket (which is not subject to Holding Fee), the infant named in the booking must be under 2 years of age at the time of travel on all flights within the itinerary.
3. Payment of the Holding Fee will hold your reservation for the Hold Period.
4. Payment of the Holding Fee will cause the booking and the fare (along with any Carrier Imposed Charges or Fuel Surcharges where applicable) (the "On-Hold Booking") to be held for the Hold Period. The fare and any applicable Carrier Imposed Charges or Fuel Surcharges will be determined at the time when the Holding Fee is being received by Singapore Airlines.
5. Third party taxes, fees and charges may be re-calculated at the time of final payment of the full fare amount. This may result in changes to the full fare amount from the amount that was specified at the time of Holding Fee payment.
6. On-Hold Bookings under this Secure My Fare scheme are not eligible for seat reservations, upgrades or excess baggage purchases prior to confirmation.
7. On-Hold Bookings under this Secure My Fare scheme cannot have its reservation details – including but not limited to details such as passenger type (adult/child/infant), passenger numbers, route, flight or date – be modified during the Hold Period. Unless otherwise stated herein, no refund of the Holding Fee is permissible. If changes to the reservation are made after the On-Hold Booking is confirmed, and payment to confirm said On-Hold Booking has been made in full, these changes will be subject to the Fare Conditions then prevailing and applicable to the booking.
8. For On-Hold Bookings made in the United States of America and for travel to or from the United States of America, the Holding Fee will be refunded in full if you elect to cancel your booking within 24 hours by contacting your local Singapore Airlines office.
9. In the event that during the Hold Period an involuntary reschedule or cancellation is applied to your On-Hold Booking by Singapore Airlines, you will be offered an alternative. The alternative offer will be conveyed to you via the “Manage Booking” portal of singaporeairlines.com, via email or via telephone. Should the alternative offered not be to your satisfaction, you will be entitled to a refund, without interest, of the Holding Fee.
10. If payment to confirm an On-Hold Booking is not made in full within the Hold Period, the On-Hold Booking will be cancelled and the Holding Fee shall be forfeited.
11. Singapore Airlines reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions, at its sole and absolute discretion, at any time with or without prior notice. Singapore Airlines is not liable to customers for any loss of value or benefits that may arise as a result of any such changes. For the avoidance of doubt, any On-Hold Booking that has been fully paid during the Hold Period prior to the effective date of the revised terms and conditions shall remain being subject to the terms and conditions as if no revision has taken place.
