The Conversational Experience allows you to submit text inputs (“Input”) and converse with an online computer-powered chatbot and generate text content output (“Output”) based on the Input. Input and Output are collectively “Content”. By using the Services, you confirm that you understand and agree to the Terms and Conditions. You must use the Services and the generated Content only (i) in a lawful manner and in compliance with all applicable laws; (ii) in accordance with the Terms and Conditions, or other documentation directed to the Services; (iii) in a manner that does not infringe or attempt to infringe, misappropriate or otherwise violate any rights of SIA or its subsidiaries (collectively, “SIA”).

You may cease use of the Services at any time. If you do not wish to use the Services, you may choose not to utilise or engage with the Conversational Experience.

(a) The Content. All Content and materials within the Services, including but not limited to text, images, charts, forms, and logos, are the exclusive property of SIA or licensed parties. Use of the aforesaid Content and materials without prior written approval from SIA or relevant parties constitutes copyright infringement and other intellectual property rights violations, as the case may be. No compensation will be paid to you with respect to the use of your Content, as provided herein.

(b) Similarity of Content. Due to the nature of machine learning, the Output may not be unique across users and the Services may generate the same or similar Output for other users. Other users may also ask similar questions and receive the same, similar or different responses.

(c) Use of Content to Improve Services. SIA may use Content that you provide to or receive to develop or improve the Services.

(d) Accuracy. Artificial intelligence and machine learning are rapidly evolving fields of study. SIA is constantly working to improve the Services to make it more accurate, reliable, safe and beneficial. Given the probabilistic nature of machine learning, use of the Services may in some situations result in: (i) incorrect Output that does not accurately reflect real people, places, or facts; or (ii) Output which does not precisely meet your expectations. You should evaluate the accuracy and sufficiency of any Output as appropriate for your use case, including by using human review of the Output.

(a) Use of the Services. You may access, and SIA grants you a non-exclusive right to use, the Services in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. You will comply with these terms and all applicable laws when using the Services. SIA owns all rights, title, and interest in and to the Services.

(b) Feedback. SIA appreciates feedback, comments, ideas, proposals and suggestions for improvements. If you provide any of these things, SIA may use it without restriction or compensation to you.

(c) Restrictions. You may not (i) use the Services in a way that infringes, misappropriates or violates any person’s rights; (ii) reverse assemble, reverse compile, decompile, translate or otherwise attempt to discover the source code or underlying components of models, algorithms, and systems of the Services (except to the extent such restrictions are contrary to applicable law); (iii) use Output from the Services to develop models that compete with Azure OpenAI; (iv) except as permitted through the API, use any automated or programmatic method to extract data or Output from the Services, including scraping, web harvesting, or web data extraction; (v) represent that Output from the Services was human-generated when it is not or otherwise violate these Terms and Conditions; (vi) copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or market any part of the Services of its content without SIA’s prior written consent; (viii) input or extract data or Output for any personal data pertaining to yourself, third parties or of children under 13.

(d) Third Party Services. Any third party software, services, or other products you use in connection with the Services are subject to their own terms, and SIA is not responsible for third party products.

To ensure the security of user information, you agree not to use any software, tools, or other means to interfere with the Services’ operations or unlawfully collect user data.

You may only use the Content within these Terms and Conditions for lawful and proper purposes. You agree to be responsible for all matters arising from your use of the Web Site, SQM and/or Kris (as the case may be). Further, you agree:

  • Not to use the Web Site, SQM and/or Kris in any manner which breaches any applicable law or regulation or causes or which may cause an infringement of any third party rights;
  • Not to post, transmit or disseminate any Content derived from or information on or via the website, SQM and/or Kris which may be harmful, obscene, defamatory or illegal or create liability on SIA’s part;
  • Not to interfere or attempt to interfere with the operation or functionality of this Web Site; and
  • Not to obtain or attempt to obtain unauthorized access, via whatever means, to any of SIA’s systems.

SIA reserves the right to terminate your use of the Services at any time if there is reasonable belief that you have violated these Terms and Conditions. Termination may occur without prior notice and may result in the loss of data or personal information.

Any Content generated by the Services is provided “as is”, with no warranty of accuracy or reliability. SIA makes no warranty of, and assumes no liability for, any Content so generated by the Services. You acknowledge and accept that it is your responsibility to ensure that any Content so generated by the Services is used in a correct, appropriate and responsible manner, and that you shall be fully liable and responsible for any use of such Content.

Under no circumstances will SIA be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, exemplary, special or consequential damages that result from the access to, reliance upon, use of, or the inability to use, the Content on the Web Site, SQM and/or Kris.

In the event of any conflict of the Content and any other SIA terms and conditions and/or polices existing at the time, the relevant SIA terms and conditions and/or polices shall prevail and supersede the Content.

SIA has the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Such changes will be effective immediately upon being published on the Web Site.

By continuing to use the Services after such changes, you indicate your acceptance and agreement to abide by the new Terms and Conditions.

The law applicable to these Terms and Conditions is the law of the Republic of Singapore and the courts of the Republic of Singapore will have exclusive jurisdiction in case of any dispute.
