Take care of your personal hygiene
Wash your hands regularly for at least 20 seconds with soap and water, or use an alcohol-based hand sanitiser.
Cover your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue paper when you cough or sneeze. Dispose of the used tissue paper immediately and wash your hands.
Practice safe distancing at all times
From the boarding gate to the baggage belt, standing apart is safer for everyone. Keep a distance of at least 1 meter away from other passengers. If you are in Singapore Changi Airport, do make use of the floor markers.
Wear a face mask
Singapore Airlines remains guided by Singapore's regulations on in-flight health and safety requirements.
All passengers, 6 years and above, must wear a face mask during the flight except when eating or drinking, or if prescribed exemptions apply (i.e. medical reasons with a certified doctor's letter). When worn, the mask must cover the wearer's nose and mouth.
Passengers are advised to bring a sufficient supply of face masks for their journey. Replace damp face masks and do not reuse single-use masks. Before you dispose of your face mask, wrap it in tissue paper or put it in a plastic bag and seal tightly before disposing it in a closed bin. Remember to wash your hands afterwards.
If you feel unwell, seek help immediately
In most airports, you will be screened for signs of illnesses and asked to declare your health status. If you feel unwell before your flight, consult a doctor and rest at home. If you start to feel ill during your flight, let us know immediately. Our cabin crew has been trained to take care of you.
Observe seat segregation
You may view seat availability and change your seats via
Manage Booking or your check-in summary. Complimentary seat selection is available once online check-in opens, 48 hours before your flight departs.
Please note that vacant seats in the rows near you may be occupied subsequently.
