Contest Giveaway Terms and Conditions

  1. KrisFlyer members who participate in the Contest (as defined herein)  in accordance with these terms (the "Terms"), including Tagged Individuals (as defined herein), from 22 August 2025 (1000 hrs GMT+8) to 31 August 2025 (2359 hrs GMT+8) ("Contest Period") will stand a chance to win 50,000 KrisFlyer miles per pair (the "Prize").
  2. The KrisFlyer X Scoot Award Flight Contest Giveaway on Instagram ("Contest") is organised by Singapore Airlines Limited ("SIA") and Scoot Pte. Ltd. (“Scoot”), will be carried out on Instagram, and is open to all KrisFlyer members (unless otherwise stated) who participate in the Contest (including Tagged Individuals) in accordance with these Terms, including without limitation as described in paragraphs 3 and 4 below, during the Contest Period.
  3. In order to be eligible to participate in the Contest, including as a Tagged Individual, a KrisFlyer member must:
    1. follow KrisFlyer on Instagram (at https://www.instagram.com/krisflyer.official);
    2. follow Scoot on Instagram (at https://www.instagram.com/flyscoot/); and
    3. be a KrisFlyer member before the end of the Contest period.
  4. In order for a pair to participate in the Contest:
    1. an eligible KrisFlyer member must post an Instagram story using the KrisFlyer X Scoot Award Flight Instagram ‘Add Yours’ template with a public account, and fill in the blanks in English (each a "Submission"), during the Contest Period.
      Amongst other things, each Submission shall include: (1) tagging another KrisFlyer member (“Tagged Individual”); (2) sharing a valid destination on Scoot’s network to which both KrisFlyer members would like to fly; and (3) sharing their intended activities at that destination; and
    2. the Tagged Individual must repost the Submission that they are tagged in, during the Contest Period.
  5. Each eligible KrisFlyer member who participates in the Contest, including Tagged Individuals, shall be referred to as a “Participant”. Participants can make unlimited Submissions, however repeated Submissions containing the same response will be disqualified.
  6. SIA and Scoot reserves the right to verify the eligibility of Participants at its sole and absolute discretion. The demise of a Participant automatically disqualifies any entry that the Participant posts or is tagged in.
  7. SIA and Scoot, in its sole and absolute discretion, will select 5 pairs of Participants (each, a "Winning Pair", and collectively, the “Winning Pairs”), to each win the Prize. Winning Pairs will be selected based on the quality and creativity of their Submissions. 
  8. Each Participant in each Winning Pair (“Winner”) will win 25,000 KrisFlyer miles. Winning Pairs will be announced by 19 September on Instagram, or on such other date or via such other means as SIA and Scoot may determine at their sole and absolute discretion.
  9. Each Prize cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
  10. Any KrisFlyer miles acquired in accordance with this Contest will be valid for one (1) year from the date on which it is credited into the recipient’s KrisFlyer account and no extensions to the validity period will be permitted. For the avoidance of doubt, the KrisFlyer miles awarded which have not been used by the end of such validity period will expire and shall be deemed null and void.
  11. By taking part in this Contest, each Participant acknowledges and agrees that:
    1.  each Participant may not submit, upload or publish any content that is inaccurate, misleading, libellous, defamatory, threatening, pornographic, obscene, indecent, lewd, abusive, illegal, political, racist, religious, blasphemous, false, an infringement of any intellectual property rights of a third party, or would otherwise violate or encourage the violation of any law or the proprietary or other rights of any third party (individually and collectively "Improper Content");
    2. each Participant automatically grants SIA and Scoot a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable and royalty-free licence to use (including without limitation, to store, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, display, communicate, transmit, broadcast, podcast, webcast, or broadcast) and to sub-licence any and all intellectual property rights, title and interests (including copyright) in their Submission(s), including without limitation to repurpose and/or report their answers in other social media posts as and when it deems fit, without informing the Participant in advance; and
    3. each Participant represents and warrants that:
      1.   all Submissions are the Participant's own original works and creations and do not and will not infringe the copyright or any other intellectual property or other rights of any third party;
      2. none of the Submissions are proprietary or confidential;
      3. none of the Submissions are Improper Content, nor will they expose SIA or Scoot to any civil or criminal proceedings in any part of the world; and
    4. the use by SIA and/or Scoot and other users of the Submissions for the purposes and in the manner set out in these Terms will not require any further licences or rights from, or infringe any intellectual property or other rights of, any third party.
  12. SIA and/or Scoot will notify the Winners as a reply to their Submission or reposted Submission (as applicable) on Instagram or via such other means as SIA and Scoot may determine from time to time at its sole and absolute discretion. The Winners will be required to provide their personal details to SIA via KrisFlyer_social@singaporeair.com.sg in order to receive their Prize. All details and particulars submitted must be true, accurate and complete. SIA will then provide the Winners with further information on how to claim the Prize. If any Winner is determined by SIA and/or Scoot in their sole and absolute discretion to have breached any provisions in these Terms and/or to be not eligible to participate in the Contest for any reason, the Prize of such Winner and/or the other individual in their Winning Pair will be forfeited and disposed of by SIA and/or Scoot.
  13. SIA and Scoot reserves the right at any time in its absolute discretion to (a) cancel or modify the Contest; or (b) substitute, withdraw or cancel any Prize, or to award one or more but not all of the Prizes, without prior notice and without having to disclose any reason therefore and without any payment or compensation whatsoever. All decisions made by SIA, in respect to any matter relating to this Contest, including the choice of each Winning Pair, shall be final, conclusive and binding on all Participants and Winners, and no correspondence will be entertained. SIA reserves the right to vary these Terms or terminate this Contest without prior notice at its sole and absolute discretion.
  14. All KrisFlyer miles awarded under this Contest will be subject to the KrisFlyer Terms and Conditions  (available online at https://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/ppsclub_krisflyer/termsconditions-kf/).
  15. It may take about four (4) to six (6) weeks for the Prizes to be credited into the KrisFlyer account of each Winner.
  16. The Winner is responsible for all other personal travel expenses incurred outside of the Prize (eg. insurance, passports, visas, ground transportation, meals, health certification and others). Compliance with any health or other government and border entry requirements is the responsibility of the Winner.

 

Participation

  1. By participating in the Contest, each Participant agrees to comply with and be bound by these Terms, SIA's conditions of use of website, SIA's Privacy Policy (available online at http://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/privacy-policy/), KrisFlyer Terms and Conditions (available online at https://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/ppsclub_krisflyer/termsconditions-kf/) and Scoot's privacy policy (available online at https://www.flyscoot.com/en/privacy) (collectively, "SIA Terms & Conditions"). Non-compliance with or breach of any of the SIA Terms & Conditions may result in the Participant being disqualified at any stage of the Contest, and any Prizes won may be forfeited, withheld, withdrawn or reclaimed by SIA. Unless otherwise defined, capitalised terms used herein shall have the meanings assigned to them in the respective SIA Terms and Conditions.
  2. By participating in the Contest, each Participant consents that any and all personal data he/she submits (including his/her name, KrisFlyer membership number, email address and contact number) or otherwise makes available to SIA may be collected, used, disclosed, or otherwise processed by SIA, its authorised service providers and its advertising and promotion agencies for the purposes indicated in SIA's Privacy Policy and for administrating the Contest and the Prizes, including to communicate with the Winners in relation to collection of the Prizes and for SIA's publicity and/or advertising campaigns connected to the Contest, and further agrees that such collection, use, disclosure, and processing will be without payment or compensation.
  3. Employees of SIA and/or Scoot, their immediate families, affiliates, subsidiaries, related agencies, principal sponsors and suppliers associated with this campaign are not eligible to participate in the Contest. Corporations and other artificial persons are not eligible to participate in the Contest.
  4. To the extent permitted under applicable law, SIA and Scoot will not be responsible or liable for any consequences that any Participant may suffer (including without limitation any damage, loss, injury or disappointment) by entering the Contest or any Participant's acceptance of any Prize.
  5. Unless otherwise specified, SIA and Scoot is not responsible for and will not bear any of the expenses and all ancillary costs which may be incurred in the participation in the Contest and/or the Prizes.
  6.  In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and any advertising, promotional, publicity, or other materials relating to or in connection with the Contest, these Terms shall prevail.
