Singapore Airlines

Offering you greater flexibility in times of uncertainty

Enjoy complimentary rebooking for all tickets issued up to 30 September 2021
We understand that travel plans may change given the evolving nature of the Covid-19 pandemic. If you have a ticket issued on or before 30 September 2021, you can now rebook your flight without a fee.

Make unlimited changes to your booking

With complimentary rebooking, you can:

• make unlimited changes to your booking on or before 30 September 2021; and
• make one additional change after 30 September 2021.
All change fees will be waived if your ticket is eligible for complimentary rebooking. All you have to do is pay the fare difference, if any.
Any booking change you make must be before your original travel date or within a year of your ticket’s date of issue, whichever is earlier. For example, if your ticket was issued on 15 June 2021, you must make your changes before 15 June 2022. You can find your ticket’s date of issue in the e-ticket pdf attached to your booking confirmation email.

Change your travel date, destination, or even get a full refund

To change your travel dates, simply log in to Manage Booking and select your new flights.

To change your destination, please contact your local Singapore Airlines ticketing office or your travel agency or third-party website—depending on who you purchased your tickets from.

You can seek a refund of the unused portion of your ticket in the event of a flight cancellation, international border closures, or if you test positive for Covid-19 and are unable to travel. Submit your refund request here.

Book now, postpone later

When you can change your booking for free, there is no need to worry about your travel dates. Here’s an example of how you can book now and travel in 2023 if your ticket is reissued:

1. Book ticket
You purchased a Singapore Airlines ticket in June 2021, for travel in October 2021.

2. Postpone trip
In August 2021, you decide to postpone your trip to December 2021. This change falls within the period for unlimited complimentary rebooking.

3. Postpone trip (again)
In September 2021, you decide to postpone your trip to May 2022. This change falls within the period for unlimited complimentary rebooking.

4. Postpone trip (yet again)
In May 2022, you decide to change your destination and travel on a later date. Even though the complimentary rebooking period has ended, you are still entitled to one complimentary change after 30 September 2021. You may need to pay a fare difference, depending on the new destination chosen.

Your ticket will be reissued based on your updated itinerary with a new validity period of up to 12 months. This extended ticket validity means you may have the further flexibility to postpone your travel up to May 2023. However, please note that fees will apply for any further changes made to the booking.
