Singapore Airlines

flexible-booking

Offering you greater flexibility in times of uncertainty

Enjoy complimentary rebooking for all bookings between 5 March 2020 and 30 June 2021.
If you have a Singapore Airlines ticket issued between 5 March 2020 and 30 June 2021 (both dates inclusive), you can enjoy the flexibility to change your travel plans with complimentary rebooking.

Make unlimited changes to your booking

With complimentary rebooking, you can:

• make unlimited changes to your booking before 30 June 2021; and
• make one additional change after 30 June 2021.

All change fees will be waived if your ticket is eligible for complimentary rebooking. All you have to do is pay the fare difference, if any. However, do note that all cancellations are subject to your ticket’s fare conditions.

Any booking change you make must be before your original travel date or within a year of your ticket’s date of issue, whichever is earlier. For example, if your ticket was issued on 5 February 2021, you must make your changes before 5 February 2022. You can find your ticket’s date of issue in the e-ticket pdf attached to your booking confirmation email.

Book now, postpone later

When you can change your booking for free, there is no need to worry about your travel dates. Here’s an example of how you can book now and travel in 2023 if your ticket is reissued:

1. Book ticket
You purchased a Singapore Airlines ticket in March 2021, for travel in October 2021.

2. Postpone trip
In April 2021, you decide to postpone your trip to December 2021. This change falls within the period for unlimited complimentary rebooking.

3. Postpone trip (again)
In May 2021, you decide to postpone your trip to February 2022. This change falls within the period for unlimited complimentary rebooking.

4. Postpone trip (yet again)
In February 2022, you decide to change your destination and travel on a later date—and you use your additional complimentary change to do so. Depending on the cost of your new ticket, you may need to pay a fare difference.

Your ticket will be reissued based on your updated itinerary with a new 12-month validity. This extended ticket validity means you can postpone your travel up to February 2023.
