For Cebu to Medan flights, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are as follows: Economy Class passengers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, or 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class passengers may check up to 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members have additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft has reached 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Cebu but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport offers extensive facilities for both short and longer layovers. For layovers of at least around 5.5 to 6 hours, you can consider joining an official transit tour into the city, subject to eligibility and timing, to see some of Singapore's highlights before returning for your onward flight.
