For Dhaka–Osaka journeys, the weight concept applies. In Economy Class, checked baggage allowances are 25kg for Lite and Value fares, and 30kg for Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class customers enjoy a 40kg checked baggage allowance. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg in weight.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Dhaka to Osaka once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. KrisFlyer members enjoy free, unlimited Wi-Fi, and Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans on board. The service is ideal for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Dhaka–Singapore and Singapore–Osaka sectors, Economy Class seats typically offer a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, providing comfortable legroom for the journey. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available. Eligible customers may use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, subject to their travel class and membership status.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Dhaka but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

If your layover at Singapore Changi Airport is at least 5.5 hours, you can consider joining one of the official city transit tours, which showcases highlights of Singapore without needing to manage your own arrangements. For shorter layovers, you can stay airside and enjoy the airport’s attractions.

Changi Airport offers themed gardens, art installations, quiet rest areas, and, in some terminals, facilities such as a swimming pool, cinema, or play zones for children. There are also shower facilities and airport hotels if you prefer a private space to rest.

Dhaka follows Bangladesh Standard Time (UTC+6) and does not observe daylight saving time. Osaka follows Japan Standard Time (UTC+9), also without daylight saving. This means Osaka is 3 hours ahead of Dhaka throughout the year; for example, when it is 09.00 in Dhaka, it is 12.00 in Osaka.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Dhaka–Singapore and Singapore–Osaka) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Osaka is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
