For flights between Hanoi and Paris, our checked baggage policy is based on the weight concept. In Economy Class, Lite and Value fares include 25kg of checked baggage, while Standard and Flexi fares include 30kg. In Premium Economy Class, the allowance is 35kg. In Business Class, you may check in up to 40kg, and in First Class, up to 50kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while First Class and Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Hanoi to Paris once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, although Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can choose from paid plans. The connection is designed for messaging, email, and basic browsing, and does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Hanoi but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore (SIN), eligible customers may be invited to The Private Room, SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin and status.

If your layover in Singapore is long enough, you can join an official transit tour into the city, which usually requires at least around 5.5 to 6 hours between flights to allow for immigration and tour time. This gives you a glimpse of landmarks and waterfront areas before returning to the airport.

For shorter layovers, Singapore Changi Airport offers themed gardens, quiet rest zones, art installations, and family-friendly play areas that help the time pass comfortably. You can also enjoy a wide choice of dining options and retail outlets spread across the terminals.

In late March to late October, Paris switches to Central European Summer Time (UTC+2), making Paris 5 hours behind Hanoi.
