A selection of hot and cold drinks is available throughout the flight, including juices, soft drinks, coffee, tea, and a curated range of alcoholic beverages. Our signature Singapore Sling is also available on board.

For flights between Istanbul and Seattle, the piece concept applies for checked baggage. In Economy Class, you may check in 2 pieces, each up to 23kg. In Premium Economy Class, you may check in 2 pieces, each up to 23kg. In Business Class, you may check in 2 pieces, each up to 32kg. Each individual checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Istanbul to Seattle once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should ensure their membership number is added to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Istanbul to Singapore and Singapore to Seattle sectors, operated by the Airbus A350-900, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of 32 inches with up to 19 inches of seat width. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you may be able to join an official transit tour into the city, which typically requires at least about 5.5 to 6 hours between flights. For shorter connections, you can stay airside and explore the airport's gardens, rest areas, and entertainment zones. Facilities such as nap zones, children’s play areas, and transit hotels make it easy to relax or refresh before your onward flight. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

When departing from Istanbul Airport, eligible Singapore Airlines customers may have access to partner lounges such as the Turkish Airlines Lounge Business Class or Turkish Airlines Lounge Miles&Smiles, depending on their cabin class or frequent flyer status. Lounge access is determined by your departing flight from Istanbul and your membership tier.

During your layover at Singapore Changi Airport, eligible customers travelling on Singapore Airlines flights may access facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin class and KrisFlyer or Star Alliance status. Access policies follow our prevailing lounge eligibility rules.

Istanbul operates on Türkiye Time (UTC+3) year-round. Seattle is on Pacific Time, using Pacific Standard Time (UTC−8) roughly from November to March, and Pacific Daylight Time (UTC−7) roughly from March to November. This means Seattle is usually 10 or 11 hours behind Istanbul, depending on the time of year.

On arrival in Seattle, you will clear immigration and customs at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Follow the signs to passport control, baggage reclaim, then customs. After exiting the arrivals area, you can choose from various ground transport options into the city. Allow extra time if you have a connecting domestic flight.

For flights from Istanbul to Seattle via Singapore, we recommend arriving at Istanbul Airport at least 3 hours before your scheduled departure time. This allows time for check-in, security screening, and passport control, as well as any additional checks that may apply for travel to the United States of America.
