For flights between Los Angeles and Zurich, the piece concept applies to checked baggage. In Economy Class, you may check 2 pieces, each up to 23kg. In Premium Economy Class, you may check 2 pieces, each up to 23kg. In Business Class, you may check 2 pieces, each up to 32kg. In First Class, you may check 2 pieces, each up to 32kg. Each individual checked piece must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class and First Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final baggage allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights between Los Angeles, Singapore, and Zurich once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase paid plans. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available. Eligible customers may be able to access The Private Room, SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge during their layover.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join a free city tour, which typically requires at least around 5.5 to 6 hours of transit time. This gives you a brief introduction to the city before you continue to Zurich. For shorter layovers, staying airside is very comfortable. You can explore indoor gardens, rest areas, and dedicated relaxation zones, or visit the airport's attractions such as viewing decks and entertainment spaces.
