For flights between Xiamen and Hanoi, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class passengers may check up to 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, and Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final baggage allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights on this route once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Xiamen–Singapore Boeing 737-8 MAX sector and the Singapore–Hanoi Airbus A350-900 sector, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of around 32 inches, with up to 19 inches of seat width. Business Class features a fully flat bed with generous personal space and direct aisle access on the Airbus A350-900, and a lie-flat or deeply reclining seat with ample legroom on the Boeing 737-8 MAX.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Xiamen but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. Eligible passengers may be invited to the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport, depending on their class of travel and membership status.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can enjoy one of the most comfortable transit experiences in the world. For longer layovers, you may join the airport’s free city tour if your connection time meets the minimum requirement, usually around 5.5 to 6 hours between flights. For shorter connections, stay airside and explore themed gardens, rest areas, and entertainment zones.

There are quiet nooks for relaxation, snooze areas, and transit hotels if you prefer a room between flights. Families will find play areas and interactive installations, while travellers who enjoy walking can explore art displays and viewing galleries.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Hanoi is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
