Throughout the journey, you can enjoy a range of hot and cold drinks, including juices and hot beverages. Our signature Singapore Sling is also available on board, adding a distinctive touch to your journey.

For flights between Zurich and Male, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class guests may bring 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class guests may bring 35kg, and Business Class guests 40kg. First Class guests on the Zurich–Singapore sector may bring 50kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class guests may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class and First Class guests may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is confirmed on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Zurich to Male once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can choose from paid plans. The service is ideal for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Zurich–Singapore and Singapore–Male sectors, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, while Premium Economy Class provides a 38-inch pitch with up to 20-inch seat width.

Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

At Singapore Changi Airport, eligible passengers may be able to use lounges such as The Private Room, SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), and the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin and frequent flyer status.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Zurich but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport is designed for comfortable and engaging layovers. For longer connections of at least 5.5 to 6 hours, you can consider an official transit tour into the city, which lets you see key landmarks before returning for your onward flight.

For shorter layovers, stay airside and enjoy themed gardens, quiet rest zones, play areas, and, in some terminals, attractions such as indoor greenery and viewing decks. There are also showers, transit hotels, and spa services where you can refresh between flights.

Dining options are extensive, ranging from quick snacks to full meals, and shopping is varied, with many stores open late. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:
