For flights between Busan and Medan, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are as follows: Economy Class passengers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, or 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class passengers may check up to 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Busan to Medan once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Busan but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore Changi Airport, eligible customers may have access to lounges such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), and KrisFlyer Gold Lounge.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join one of the official free transit tours into the city, available for passengers with a minimum layover of around 5.5 to 6 hours, subject to tour timings and eligibility. These tours offer a convenient way to see key highlights without arranging your own city transport. For shorter connections, there is plenty to enjoy airside, including themed gardens, rest areas, quiet zones, play areas, and a wide choice of dining and shopping. Some terminals also offer additional amenities such as pay-per-use lounges and transit hotels, ideal if you would like to rest or freshen up between flights.
