For flights between Delhi and Guangzhou, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (25kg on Lite and Value fares; 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares), Premium Economy Class (35kg), Business Class (40kg), and Suites (50kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Suites and Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Delhi to Guangzhou once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On Boeing 787-10 and Airbus A380-800 flights between Delhi and Singapore, and Boeing 787-10 flights between Singapore and Guangzhou, Economy Class offers a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Delhi but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

In Singapore, eligible customers may be invited to use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin and status.

Singapore Changi Airport is designed for comfortable and engaging layovers. With a longer connection of at least about 5.5 hours, you can consider joining a free official transit tour into the city, subject to operating hours and eligibility, to enjoy a brief introduction to Singapore. For shorter layovers, you can stay airside and explore the airport's themed gardens, quiet rest areas, and art installations. Depending on your terminal, there may also be facilities such as swimming pools, movie theatres, and transit hotels where you can relax, freshen up, or rest between flights. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Delhi operates on India Standard Time (UTC+5:30) throughout the year, without daylight saving time. Guangzhou uses China Standard Time (UTC+8), also without daylight saving. Guangzhou is therefore 2 hours 30 minutes ahead of Delhi at all times of the year.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Delhi–Singapore and Singapore–Guangzhou) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Guangzhou is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.

You may be able to plan a stopover in Singapore on your Delhi–Guangzhou trip, subject to your ticket conditions and availability.
