For flights between Frankfurt and Jakarta, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (25kg on Lite/Value fares, 30kg on Standard/Flexi), Premium Economy Class (35kg), Business Class (40kg), and First Class or Suites (50kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Suites, First Class, and Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Frankfurt to Jakarta once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, although Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure.

Non-members can purchase Wi-Fi plans on board. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers, who may be invited to facilities such as The Private Room, SilverKris Lounge (First Class), or SilverKris Lounge (Business Class). The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Frankfurt but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport is well suited to both short and longer layovers when travelling from Frankfurt to Jakarta. For layovers of about 5.5 hours or more, you may wish to join one of the airport's official transit tours, which offer a brief introduction to Singapore without the need to manage your own arrangements.

If you prefer to stay airside or have a shorter connection, the airport offers themed gardens, quiet rest zones, playgrounds, and in selected terminals, facilities such as swimming pools and cinemas. There are also many cafes, restaurants, and shops where you can stretch your legs between flights.
