For Medan–Kolkata flights, the weight concept applies. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg for Lite and Value fares, and 30kg for Standard and Flexi fares. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance shown on your e-ticket applies to your booking, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights on this route once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Business Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Medan but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.
