For Shanghai to Fukuoka flights, our weight-concept baggage policy applies. In Economy Class, checked baggage allowances are 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class, where offered on the Shanghai to Singapore sector, includes 35kg of checked baggage.

In Business Class, you can check in up to 40kg of baggage, and in First Class on selected Shanghai to Singapore services, the checked baggage allowance is 50kg. Each individual checked bag must not exceed 32kg for safety reasons.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring one piece up to 7kg. Business Class and First Class passengers may bring two pieces, each up to 7kg. Your specific allowance will be confirmed on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Shanghai to Fukuoka once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Shanghai but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. Eligible travellers may use The Private Room, SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge in Singapore Changi Airport, depending on their cabin and status.

Singapore Changi Airport offers extensive airside facilities that make layovers comfortable and engaging. Depending on your terminal, you can enjoy themed gardens, free cinema screenings, play areas, rest zones, and a wide variety of dining and shopping options without leaving the secure area.

If your layover is long enough, you may be able to join a guided transit tour into the city, subject to eligibility and minimum connection times. Alternatively, airport hotels and nap facilities inside or near the terminals provide a quiet place to rest between flights.
