For flights between Taipei and Bengaluru, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (Lite/Value fares: 25kg; Standard/Flexi: 30kg), Premium Economy Class (35kg), and Business Class (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Taipei to Bengaluru once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. KrisFlyer members enjoy free and unlimited Wi-Fi; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans on board. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Taipei but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. Eligible customers may use lounges such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), and KrisFlyer Gold Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport.

With a layover in Singapore, you can enjoy many amenities at Singapore Changi Airport. For shorter connections, explore the airport’s themed gardens, quiet rest areas, art installations, and family-friendly zones, or simply unwind at one of the lounges or transit hotels within the terminals.

If you have a longer layover, and enough time to comfortably clear formalities and return for your flight, you may consider joining one of the official transit tour programmes, which typically require several hours of connection time.
