Customers departing from Singapore with direct flights to Australia:
• Duty-free Liquids, Aerosols and Gels (LAGs) purchased at Changi Airport must be in a sealed security tamper-evident bag with the receipt and collected via gate delivery after security screening in Singapore.
Customers transiting Singapore to Australia:
• LAGs must comply with Australian cabin baggage restrictions when going through security. This means each individual container must be 100 millilitres or 100 grams or less.
In accordance with Australian security regulations, duty-free LAGs purchased from previous sectors must meet cabin baggage restrictions even if they are placed in a sealed security tamper-evident bag.
• Duty-free LAGs in containers larger than 100ml are permitted only if they are purchased at Changi Airport and collected via gate delivery after security screening in Singapore, or if purchased on board the final flight to Australia.
• Any LAG items that do not meet these requirements will be disposed of by security officers at the gatehold room in Singapore.
