Beverage Service
Throughout your journey, you can enjoy a selection of hot and cold drinks, including juices, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. A signature Singapore Sling is also available on board.

For flights between Cairns and Shenzhen, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class passengers may bring up to 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your trip will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service supports messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Cairns–Singapore Airbus A350-900 sector and the Singapore–Shenzhen Boeing 737-8 MAX sector, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch and up to 19-inch seat width. Business Class provides a fully flat bed with generous space and direct aisle access on these routes.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Cairns but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

If your layover is at least 5.5 hours, you can consider joining an official transit tour from Singapore Changi Airport, which offers a glimpse of the city without handling your checked baggage. Shorter layovers are well spent exploring the airport’s themed gardens, art installations, and rest zones.

For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Shenzhen is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
