Beverage Service
A range of hot and cold drinks is available throughout the journey, including juices, soft drinks, tea, coffee, and alcoholic beverages. Our signature Singapore Sling is also available on board.

For flights between Copenhagen and Colombo, Singapore Airlines uses the weight concept for checked baggage. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg for Lite and Value fares, and 30kg for Standard and Flexi fares. In Premium Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 35kg. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class guests may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class guests may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Copenhagen to Colombo once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans on board. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Copenhagen–Singapore sector, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of 32 inches with up to 19 inches of seat width, Premium Economy Class offers a 38-inch seat pitch with up to 20 inches of seat width, and Business Class provides a fully flat bed with direct aisle access from every seat. On the Singapore–Colombo sector, Economy Class offers the same 32-inch pitch and up to 19-inch width, while Business Class again features a fully flat bed with direct aisle access.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Copenhagen but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can enjoy themed gardens, art installations, quiet rest areas, and a wide range of dining choices within the terminals. For longer layovers, the airport’s official transit tour allows you to briefly explore highlights of Singapore, typically requiring at least a 5.5-hour connection. Shorter layovers are well spent enjoying the airport’s amenities, from relaxation zones to family-friendly attractions. Colombo stays on Sri Lanka Standard Time (UTC+5:30) year-round. This means Colombo is 4.5 hours ahead of Copenhagen in winter, and 3.5 hours ahead during Danish summer time.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Copenhagen–Singapore and Singapore–Colombo) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Colombo is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
