Beverage Service
Throughout the journey, we serve a selection of hot and cold drinks, including juices, soft drinks, coffee, and tea, as well as alcoholic beverages where offered. Our signature Singapore Sling is available on board, providing a distinctive taste of our heritage during your flight.

For flights between Kathmandu and Amsterdam, the weight concept applies. In Economy Class, checked baggage allowances are 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class offers 35kg of checked baggage, and Business Class offers 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact allowance will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans.

The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing. It does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers, so we recommend downloading any heavy content before your flight.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Kathmandu but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore (SIN), eligible customers may use lounges such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), and KrisFlyer Gold Lounge.

Singapore Changi Airport offers extensive facilities for both short and longer layovers. If you have at least 5.5 to 6 hours between flights, you may join one of the airport’s official transit tours into the city, subject to eligibility and timing. These tours provide a convenient way to see highlights of Singapore without handling your checked baggage.

For shorter layovers, staying airside is very comfortable. You can enjoy themed gardens, rest areas, play zones, and a wide range of dining options. Depending on the terminal, there are also facilities such as showers, nap areas, and in-terminal attractions that help you refresh between flights.

If you prefer privacy, consider booking an airport hotel or lounge with rest areas for a few hours. Signage and information counters across the terminals make it easy to navigate and plan your time. Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Amsterdam is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
