For Kolkata to Ho Chi Minh City flights, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are as follows: Economy Class passengers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, or 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class passengers may check 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The exact allowance for your trip will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join a free transit tour into the city when available, typically requiring at least around 5.5 to 6 hours between flights. This lets you see select highlights before returning comfortably in time for your onward flight.

For shorter layovers, staying airside at Changi Airport is very comfortable. You can explore themed gardens, quiet rest areas, art installations, and, in certain terminals, facilities such as cinemas or swimming pools, depending on your terminal and time.
