For flights between Male and Zurich, our weight-concept baggage policy applies. In Economy Class, checked baggage allowances start from 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class passengers enjoy 35kg, Business Class 40kg, and First Class 50kg of checked baggage. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class and First Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Male to Zurich once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their KrisFlyer number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Male but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. Eligible passengers may use facilities such as The Private Room, SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), and KrisFlyer Gold Lounge at Singapore (SIN).

If your layover at Singapore Changi Airport is several hours or more, you can consider joining one of the official transit tour programmes, which usually require at least 5.5 to 6 hours of transit time. These offer a brief introduction to the city while keeping your connection comfortable.

Male operates on Maldives Time (UTC+5) and does not observe daylight saving time. Zurich uses Central European Time (UTC+1) in roughly November to March, making Male 4 hours ahead. From late March to late October, Zurich switches to Central European Summer Time (UTC+2), so Male is 3 hours ahead.
