For flights between Osaka and Kathmandu, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage: Economy Class passengers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class passengers may check 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage: Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Osaka to Kathmandu once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, although Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Osaka–Singapore sector operated by the Boeing 787-10, Economy Class offers a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, while Business Class features a fully flat bed with direct aisle access. Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Osaka but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore (SIN), eligible travellers can enjoy the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin and status.

Singapore Changi Airport offers a wide range of facilities to make your layover comfortable, from themed gardens and art installations to quiet rest areas and transit hotels. If you have at least around 5.5 to 6 hours between flights, you can consider joining the official free transit tour to see highlights of the city. For shorter layovers, staying airside gives you access to walking trails, viewing galleries, and relaxation zones where you can freshen up, dine, or simply stretch your legs.
