For Shanghai to Seattle flights, the piece concept applies for checked baggage. In Economy Class, you may check 2 pieces, each up to 23kg. In Premium Economy Class, you may check 2 pieces, each up to 23kg. In Business Class, you may check 2 pieces, each up to 32kg. In First Class, you may check 2 pieces, each up to 32kg. Each individual checked piece must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are 1 piece up to 7kg in Economy Class and Premium Economy Class, and 2 pieces up to 7kg each in Business Class and First Class. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines services from Shanghai to Seattle once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

The Next Segment Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Shanghai but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. At Singapore (SIN), eligible passengers may be invited to The Private Room, SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin and status.
