For flights between Taipei and Cairns, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers have an allowance of 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class passengers have a 40kg checked baggage allowance. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg in weight.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, and Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your trip will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Taipei to Cairns once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class passengers must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure to enjoy this. Singapore Changi Airport offers many ways to make your layover enjoyable, from themed gardens and quiet rest areas to play zones and art installations. For shorter layovers, you can stay airside, stretch your legs along the terminals, and enjoy the diverse dining and shopping options.

If you have a longer connection of at least around 5.5 to 6 hours, you can consider joining a free transit tour to briefly explore highlights of Singapore, subject to the airport programme schedule and entry requirements. Alternatively, you can relax in a lounge, visit rest areas, or freshen up at airport hotels located within or next to the terminals.
