For flights between Tokyo and Ho Chi Minh City, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class 25kg on Lite/Value fares and 30kg on Standard/Flexi fares, Premium Economy Class 35kg, Business Class 40kg, and First Class 50kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class one piece up to 7kg, and Business Class and First Class two pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines services between Tokyo, Singapore, and Ho Chi Minh City once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, although Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On sectors offering Economy Class, you can expect a seat pitch of about 32 inches with up to 19 inches of seat width, designed for good comfort on longer flights. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Tokyo but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport is designed for comfortable transits, with themed gardens, quiet rest areas, and a wide variety of dining options across its terminals. If your layover is at least 5.5 hours and you meet the programme conditions, you may be able to join a free city tour organised from the airport.

For shorter layovers, you can stay airside and enjoy facilities such as relaxation zones, entertainment areas, and family-friendly spaces. Airport hotels and snooze areas allow you to rest between flights without leaving the terminal complex.
