For flights between Beijing and Ahmedabad, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (25kg for Lite/Value fares, 30kg for Standard/Flexi), Premium Economy Class (35kg), Business Class (40kg), and First Class (50kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class (1 piece up to 7kg), and Business Class and First Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines flights from Beijing to Ahmedabad once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The connection is ideal for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Beijing but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore (SIN), eligible customers can use The Private Room, SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin and status.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join an official transit tour into the city, which usually requires a minimum of around 5.5 to 6 hours between flights and meeting the tour timing conditions. This gives you a glimpse of Singapore's skyline and key districts before returning for your onward flight.

For shorter layovers, staying airside is very comfortable, with themed gardens, quiet rest areas, and entertainment facilities available across the terminals. You can also enjoy a wide selection of dining and retail outlets while stretching your legs between sectors.
