For flights between Darwin and Xiamen, the weight concept applies. In Economy Class, checked baggage allowances are 25kg for Lite and Value fares, and 30kg for Standard and Flexi fares. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members have additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Darwin to Xiamen once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members.

The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Darwin but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can enjoy one of the world’s most comfortable transit experiences. For longer layovers, you may join a free city transit tour if you meet the minimum connection time and entry requirements, allowing you to see highlights of Singapore between flights.

For shorter layovers, stay airside and explore the airport’s attractions, such as themed gardens, art installations, rest zones, and entertainment areas. Airport hotels and nap facilities are also available if you prefer a quiet break.

Darwin operates on Australian Central Standard Time (ACST), which is UTC+9:30 and does not observe daylight saving. Xiamen follows China Standard Time, which is UTC+8 year-round. Darwin is therefore 1 hour 30 minutes ahead of Xiamen throughout the year.
